Job Title: National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) Specialist

Job Description

The client has an immediate need for a National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) Specialist to provide full-time support for NEPA projects for federal clients in the Washington, DC metropolitan area and other locations nationwide.

Candidates should have working experience developing and reviewing NEPA environmental assessments (EAs) and environmental impact statements (EISs); and technical expertise in one or more of the following laws or programs:

Clean Water Act (CWA);

Clean Air Act (CAA);

Endangered Species Act (ESA);

National Historic Preservation Act (NHPA); or

Other related laws.

Ideal candidates will have experience integrating interdisciplinary considerations into NEPA documents and analyses and have management experience.

Candidates must have a BS in Biology, Ecology, Natural Resources Management, Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Urban and Regional Planning (preferably with an environmental concentration), or a related degree.

An MS degree is preferred. All candidates must possess outstanding oral and written communication skills.

Candidates must meet federal security clearance requirements and be eligible for a Top-Secret government clearance, which requires U.S. citizenship.
