As an IT Support Expert, you’ll be the first line of defense in ensuring our clients’ IT systems run smoothly and securely. You’ll provide technical assistance, troubleshoot issues, and manage various aspects of their IT environment, including Microsoft 365, firewalls, networking, and asset management. Your expertise in IT will be crucial in identifying and mitigating potential risks for our clients.

Role Description

This is a full-time remote role for an Information Technology Support Administrator. The Support Administrator will be responsible for troubleshooting technical issues, providing technical support, and managing network and system administration tasks. They will also be involved in maintaining and optimizing the client’s IT infrastructure.

Responsibilities:

Client Support: Provide prompt and effective technical assistance to clients via email or conference calls.

Microsoft 365 Administration: Manage user accounts, permissions, and settings within the Microsoft 365 environment. Assist with email configuration, troubleshooting, and data migration.

Firewall Management: Monitor and maintain client firewalls to ensure optimal security and performance. Assist with configuration changes, rule updates, and troubleshooting firewall-related issues.

Network Administration: Troubleshoot network connectivity problems, configure network devices (routers, switches, access points), and manage user access.

Asset Management: Maintain accurate inventory of client assets and configurations.

Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation of IT procedures, configurations, and troubleshooting steps.

Qualifications:

Experience: Experienced in IT support or a related field, preferably with experience in a managed service provider (MSP) or cybersecurity environment.

Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365 administration and troubleshooting
  • Strong understanding of networking principles (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP)
  • Experience with firewall configuration and management
  • Knowledge of Windows Active Directory
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices and tools

Problem-solving: Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Communication: Verbal and written communication abilities to clearly explain technical concepts to clients.

Customer Service: A dedication to providing exceptional customer service and building strong relationships with clients.

Additional Skills (a plus):

  • Experience with scripting or automation tools
  • Knowledge of cloud computing environments (AWS, Azure)
