The Opportunity

This role is for an entry level manufacturing engineer and will require active learning and training on the job. Reporting to the VP of Engineering, the successful candidate will contribute to and/or lead Initiatives relating to configuration management, product quality, validation, and manufacturing at all stages of the product lifecycle. You will initiate development and execution of plans, tracking, and reporting for the Quality (including regulatory compliance) and manufacturing process for all Coravin products. You will work closely with key stakeholders, as well as our key partners in Asia, Europe, and the USA and will use data-driven analysis to proactively assess, detect and resolve issues to ensure Coravin products deliver the best user experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead management and communication of projects with external partners in Asia and Europe.
  • Lead global Configuration Management – BOM’s, SKU setup, Change Management.
  • Work closely with Operations to ensure products are set up properly in the ERP system.
  • Collaborate with Marketing and manufacturer to update and approve artwork for production.
  • Manage product compliance to appropriate standards using 3rd party consultants as needed.
  • Provide input into product design decisions based on quality and reliability factors.
  • Develop and execute test procedures, validation / qualification plans.

Experience & Requirements:

  • B.S. in Engineering, Technology, or Relevant Science.
  • Experience in startups or small organizations is highly desired.
  • Experience with global quality and regulatory standards for consumer products is a plus
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office – outlook, excel, word, powerpoint.
  • Fluent in English (any other languages are a plus. e.g. French, Italian, Spanish, Dutch, German, Mandarin, Japanese)
